In-class Writing 1/19
1. Take out your notes you took from MLK Jr. Day speaker (or the MLK Jr. interview). 2. Write 3-5 sentence summary of what you recall as the main subject of the talk. 3. Write your own thoughts on the talk--do you agree or disagree with the sentiments? Is it a yes, but? Is it is a yes, and? Use 2-3 sentences. 4. Draw from your notes and paraphrase something you found interesting from the talk, and then write 2-3 sentences of your commentary/thoughts after the paraphrase.
